All Glory and Honor belongs to Jesus Christ, NOT me. He has equipped me to travel and sing Southern Gospel Music for nearly 40 years. I've been blessed to sing bass with two fantastic male quartets, baritone and bass with my family trio, and lead(and bass) in my solo ministry. Let me tell you folks, it is MUCH more mentally and physically demanding to maintain a solo ministry than to sing in a group! But God has been so good to me! In 1995, I wrote my first(and only)chart song and also attended the Stamps Baxter School of Music in Nashville. I've sung on 14 full recordings, 4 of which I still make available.
When COVID hit in March of 2020, I had done a solo concert in late February. As we all remember, everything shut down. After several months of no singing, it turned out that I was really enjoying the time of rest at home. Becky and I threw ourselves into our church work. We are active members of New Friendship Baptist Church in Auburn, KY. We had started teaching Sunday School prior to COVID and decided to start a podcast series to get the Sunday School lessons out to all of our class members. Well, after COVID, we still do that podcast. That requires us to teach our lesson twice every week.
I really thought I was finished with Gospel Singing ministry as I had known it. I was very proud to have sung for so long to and with so many great people. In 2021, Becky and I bought a house and land in Auburn, KY and moved from Butler County, KY to be closer to our son and daughter-in-law AND our church. We LOVE Auburn, KY and hope to never leave. Our favorite thing about our lives right now is our wonderful grandson, Judah! He turned 1 year old on July 25, 2023.
Many have said that Southern Gospel Music is dead. It is NOT! There are MANY people who still love today's Southern Gospel Music! I'm seeing a REAL hunger for this great music all over again. I've loved it all of my life. It's NOT all hymns!! It's a blend of hymns, southern gospel quartet/family songs and progressive contemporary go

I do sing hymns, in fact, Simply Hymns is my best selling cd I've ever made, but I also try to cover a variety of Southern Gospel. I have the best sound equipment available, and my music tracks are mostly custom with awesome background/support vocals. My goal is to present the Gospel in song in the highest quality way possible, after all HE deserves our best! I'd love to come and share my singing ministry with your church!

I was born into Southern Gospel Music in June of 1968. The Lord saved my soul on August 6, 1978. I started out traveling with my dad's groups at age 13 or so. I started singing at 16. Dad was a true gospel music quartet man. He loved it more than life. At age 16, I started singing some baritone with the Veterans Quartet on a special song or two each concert. Then, at age 19, our bass singer left and I assumed the bass
position. I was privileged to sing in that spot for the next 14 years! Then I joined the Crossmen Quartet in 2001 when dad retired the VQ. I sang with them until 2012 when I left to form a solo ministry and later a family group. I sang all the way through high school, college, and throughout my Civil Engineering and Piano Tuner/Technician(current) careers. Now, in my middle 50's, God has shown me that I'M NOT THROUGH!
